CALCULATOR TOOL

Grailed Fee Calculator

Estimate your Grailed commission, processing fee, payout and profit before you list.

About this tool

This Grailed fee calculator shows how much of a sale you keep after Grailed's commission and payment processing. Grailed now has two commission levels based on the sale price, so the effective rate changes at $120. The calculator applies the right tier automatically and shows both fees as separate lines, along with your net payout, profit, margin and effective fee rate.

How to use it

  1. Enter your item price and the shipping the buyer pays.
  2. Tick the box if you use a Grailed shipping label, because that changes the amount used for the tier.
  3. Tick international if the buyer is outside the US.
  4. Enter your shipping cost and item cost to see profit and margin.

How Grailed fees work

Grailed charges a commission when your item sells and, separately, a payment processing fee. The commission depends on the sale price. At $120 or more it is 9%. Under $120 it is a reduced 6% with a $1.99 minimum, which helps cheaper items. The sale price used for the tier is the listing price plus any shipping the buyer pays, unless you ship with a Grailed label.

Worked example

A $150 jacket sells domestically with $10 buyer-paid shipping, $10 real shipping and a $60 item cost.

LineAmount
Item price$150.00
Shipping paid by buyer$10.00
Commission (9%, sale price $120 or more)-$14.40
Payment processing (3.49% + $0.49)-$6.07
Net payout$139.53
Shipping you pay-$10.00
Item cost-$60.00
Profit$69.53

That is a margin of 43.5% and an effective fee rate of 12.8% of everything the buyer pays you.

Pricing around the $120 line

The tier jump at $120 can change your payout in a surprising way. A $119 item with no shipping pays a 6% commission of $7.14, while a $120 item pays 9%, or $10.80. Pricing just under the line can leave you with more money than pricing just above it. Try both prices in the calculator. The $1.99 minimum also means very cheap items carry a higher effective rate than 6%.

Processing also adds up. On the example sale the commission is $14.40 and processing is $6.07, for $20.47 in total.

Rates and what to verify

These rates were checked on October 11, 2026 against the platform's own fee page: official source. Marketplaces change fees often, and the numbers in this tool live in one place so they can be updated quickly. Treat every result as an estimate and compare it with your own payout before you price a big order.

Things to watch out for

Grailed says it can change fees at any time, and promotional commission rates may apply to some sales. If a Grailed promotion or a seller-specific rate applies to you, the real payout can differ from this estimate. Sellers who are not onboarded with Stripe see different processing fees. For other platforms, use the reseller fee calculators.
