Reporting a bug
If a tool produced a wrong result, threw an error, or froze your browser, bug reports are far more useful with a few specifics attached. When you email, please include:
- Which tool you were using (the page URL is ideal — e.g.
/tools/json-formatter) - What input you gave it — the exact text, file, or values you entered, or a close approximation if the original was sensitive
- What went wrong — the incorrect output you got, an error message, or a description of what froze or didn't respond
- Your browser and rough device type (e.g. "Chrome on Windows," "Safari on iPhone"), since a handful of bugs are browser-specific
Screenshots help but aren't required. Most tool bugs get fixed within a few days of a clear report.
Requesting a new tool
New tools get added based on what people actually ask for and what fits the site's browser-only, no-signup model. If you have an idea, describe the specific problem you're trying to solve rather than just a tool name — for example, "I need to convert a CSV file to JSON without uploading it anywhere" is more actionable than "add a CSV tool." That framing makes it much easier to judge whether the idea fits and how to scope it.

Response time
